Overhaul
Complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection of every component, fresh lubrication and regulation to chronometer tolerance. The full service a mechanical movement needs roughly every five years.
Service, Authentication, & Restoration
Fine timepieces deserve more than a battery change. Every watch we take in is properly assessed and returned to the standard its maker intended.
What We Do
Four disciplines, one point of contact. Every piece is assessed personally and its work overseen from intake to return.
Complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection of every component, fresh lubrication and regulation to chronometer tolerance. The full service a mechanical movement needs roughly every five years.
Sympathetic work on vintage and damaged pieces — case refinishing, dial and hand conservation, crystal replacement and sourcing of correct period parts. Patina is preserved unless you ask otherwise.
Movement, case, dial and bracelet examined against factory reference for the model and serial range. A written opinion you can rely on before you buy, sell or insure.
Documented valuations for insurance, estate settlement or private sale, based on condition, completeness and current market comparables.
Specialities
Not listed? Send photos anyway. If it's mechanical and Swiss, there's a good chance we can help.
How It Works
Use the form below. A few clear shots of the dial, case back and any damage tell us most of what we need to know. No obligation, no charge.
We review the images and come back to you with what the piece likely needs, an estimated cost range and a realistic turnaround time.
Drop the watch off by appointment, or ship it insured. You're updated as the work progresses and the piece is returned fully tested.
No Obligation
Tell us a little about the piece and attach a few photos. We'll review it personally and get back to you with an honest assessment.
The Founder
Master Horologist & Founder
Every piece that comes in is assessed by Matthew personally, and he stays accountable for it until it's back on your wrist. Years in the trade mean access to specialists most owners could never reach on their own — the right hands for the right movement, whether that's a modern chronograph or a seventy-year-old calibre.
Independent specialist, not tied to any manufacturer's service programme
Every piece personally assessed and overseen end to end
Honest assessments, including when a watch isn't worth the repair
